I've always enjoyed solving problems and building new things. I graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a B.S. in Biomolecular Engineering and spent 8 years building major projects, developing and executing experimental designs, and doing data analysis in the experimental polymers field. Then I pivoted into development and have been building awesome experiences for the web ever since. My skill set stretches across the entire stack, but I particularly enjoy crafting fun and unique frontend experiences. I currently live in Ridgeland, MS with my fiancée and our three dogs, Barney, Murphy and Moxie. I enjoy Onewheeling, lifting weights, mountain biking, playing piano and guitar, and singing.

Mad Genius: We Make
CSSWinner Star of the Day, April 13, 2022
Built a custom interactive portfolio for a marketing agency. Built on WordPress so client can change out assets as needed. Used barba.js and GSAP to animate transitions between pages for a smooth and consistent experience from start to finish. Wrote a custom plugin to handle GravityForms form submissions completely from the client side to address incompatibilities between GravityForms and barba.js.
Memorial Hospital
Member of the design and development team for a brand refresh of a major hospital. Designed the moodboard for the site and created several frontend Vue apps to allow for filtering providers and locations. Wrote custom WordPress REST API endpoints to expose custom post types to the client-side for consumption by Vue apps.
Pinelake Church
Lead developer on project.
- Built a custom WordPress plugin to import sermon videos from YouTube and store as custom post types.
- Built a custom video archive app using Vue.
- Built a custom calendar that fetches events from the client’s Rock RMS API and renders them using Vue.
Southwest Distributors
Key member of the development team for brand refresh of a food and drink distribution company. Processed and reorganized a supplied CSV file of products using Python, then wrote a custom WordPress plugin to map that CSV to custom product post types in WordPress. Wrote a custom product archive app using Vue and Swiper.js.
